Santa Claus came to Chattanooga!!

Wow, what a great Christmas we had!! Our Christmas really started this past Wednesday with my Aunt and Uncle and we just finished yesterday! Needless to say our boys have SO MANY toys, that we do not know where to put them? I have been cleaning out stuff ALL day trying to make room for their new toys! Oh well, I guess my living room will look like a "living room" again and not a playroom one day after they have moved out. Until then it is just fine covered in toys! Here are some pictures from the past couple of days.
Hudson posing in front of our tree. (Cooper wore this outfit for his first Christmas!)

Cooper on his new Smart Cycle that Nana and Mitchell gave him. He loves riding it and playing the fun games that connect to the tv.

Daddy reading "A Creature was Stirring - The Night Before Christmas" on Christmas Eve. Chris started this last year with Cooper and this will be a continued tradition for many more years!!

Hudson enjoying his new train! He just started sitting up about 2 weeks ago so he is loving the "new view!!"

Cooper playing with his new Geo Track Train that Santa brought. I think Chris had as much fun with this train as Cooper has!

" Mr. Mary Poppins" Cooper found this Spider Man umbrella one day in Walmart and just had to have it, so I brought it home and wrapped it up from us! He loves carrying it around even though it has not rained yet!

This past week

This past week has been so busy! Unfortunately we ALL had the stomach bug. There was someone sick in our house every day last week until Thursday night:( I am glad to report that we are all doing much better now and looking forward to having a healthy Christmas!! On Tuesday night, some of the moms from our playgroup met and had dinner. We decided to have an ornament exchange and cookie swap. It was so much fun and I have to say an evening without all of the little ones was SO NICE!!! Here is a picture of most of the moms!

On Friday we left for Gatlinburg. We had such a relaxing weekend! We did lots of shopping, eating and laying around to catch up on some much needed sleep! It was so nice to get away for the weekend! Here are 2 pictures of us from this weekend!

On Sunday evening, Cooper had his Christmas performance at his Mother;s Day Out. They all made Rudolph shirts from their little hands. They weer so cute. Of course they "attempted to" sing Rudolph but Jingle Bells turned out much better! I think that they enjoyed shaking their bells the most!! Here is Cooper and his class before and during the performance!

This is just a cute picture that I had of Hudson after Cooper's performance on Sunday night!

Hudson is finally starting to sit up without constantly falling over so I have started to bath him in his bath chair. He seems to love it because he can sit up and see/play with all of the bath toys! Cooper now loves to take a bath with him!

The Polar Express!

(I have posted two different post today, so keep scrolling down!)
Sunday night we took the boys on the "Polar Express." Cooper loves trains, so he was very
excited about riding this train! We went with some friends and we all had a great time! It was so much fun! They told the story, served the kids milk and cookies and then we went to the North Pole and met Santa. He got on the train with us and all of the kids got their picture taken with him! Santa gave each child their very own shiny bell. If you have a chance to do this with your little ones, I highly recommend it!

Busy December!!

Two weekends ago there was a Christmas parade downtown so Chris and I took the boys! Cooper loved it and Hudson feel asleep about half way through. I think that all of the lights and noise were just too much for the little guy! Here is a picture of us waiting for the parade to start!

Cooper sitting on Daddy's shoulders so he can see everything!

After the parade, we met my Dad and his girlfriend for his birthday dinner (we all had the stomach bug on his actual birthday--YUCK!) We had a wonderful dinner and then Cooper decided that we ALL had to ride on the horse and carriage. Much to my displeasure we did and I will admit, it was such a nice night outside that we had a great time!

Last week we went to the mall to visit Santa! (If you have not been yet, go on a Wednesday night b/c there was noone waiting in line. Cooper got to sit and talk to Santa for a long time!) This was Hudson's first encounter with Santa and he would just look at him. As usual he was very laid back about the entire thing! Here they are with Santa in their matching outfits!!(Thanks Melia for making them! They turned out so cute!)

Last, but not least, we had breakfast with Santa this past Saturday morning and my Dad met us. We had yummy pancakes, listened to Christmas songs and saw Santa again! We had a great time!

It's Christmas Time!!!

Well, last weekend we put up our Christmas decorations! It is finally Christmas time at our house! Cooper was so excited! He loves the tree and all of the lights! He is especially excited about the presents! Hudson just sits and stares at the tree and our musical Grinch (Cooper is always turning on!) Anyways, good luck with all of your Christmas decorations and shopping!

Pajama party with Santa!!

On Sunday, Chris and I took Cooper to the mall to have a pajama party with Santa and friends. There were lots of great characters there and of course Cooper was scared of them so that is why there are not any pictures of these great characters! Anyways, it was lots of fun! While the children ate, the charatcters put on a little skit. Then the kids got to particiate in face painting, crafts, watch a laser show, have milk and cookies and of course got to sit on Santa's lap. I am really glad that we took him b/c by the end of the night, Cooper was not scared of "HoHo" anymore, in fact he actually wanted to go back and sit on his lap again!!!

After Cooper told Santa what he wanted for Christmas, he posed with Santa and Mrs. Clause

Cooper and Meghan chillin out waiting to get their face painted!

Isn't he cute sitting in Shrek's chair!

Busy week

As many of you know, last Wednesday night there was a horrible storm/tornado in our area and many other areas near Chattanooga. Being the terrified person (of tornados) that I am, I decided that we all needed to get into the closet and wait on the storm to pass. I know that this seems silly, but I was really afraid that this tornado was coming toward Ooltewah. So since we were goingto be in the closet a while (about 20-30 minutes) I took some toys and books in so that Cooper would have something to do and not be so bored! Well, Cooper ended up loving being in the closet and he did not want to get out. He kept saying "Lets stay and play in the closet" and then he even said "I want to sleep in Daddy's closet tonight!" During our entire closet adventure, Hudson managed to stay asleep and completely unbothered the entire time! So anyways, I know that I probably went a little overboard, but at least my family is safe!!!

This was Cooper's face when we told him that we were going to stay in the closet and play b/c of the storm!

Here is Cooper sitting in the closet reading and waiting out the storm/torando!

On Sunday afternoon, we took Cooper up to the stables by my mom's house. Lori and Bailey were nice enough to get Jester (their horse) out so Cooper could ride on him! As you can see, he loved riding their horse!!! Thanks again for letting him ride on Jester!
