Gulf Shores.. Part 1

Last week we had the pleasure of going to Gulf Shores with Grandma and Pop (Chris' parents). We had a wonderful time and the weather was perfect!! The boys loved the beach and Cooper actually cried when we had to leave and come back home. Our condo was SO NICE and we loved the accommodations of the condo. It was so conveniently located to everything! The pools were the best. There were 2 pools and one was a kiddie pool that was zero entry! It was wonderful!! Hudson crawled all over this pool and had such a great time! Cooper loved this pool but he also liked the "big" pool b/c he could jump to us in the water of the big pool.

The Beach...Part 2

Cooper decided that he wanted to try the boogie board. When we put him on it in the water he did not like it so he decided he would try in this way.Of course Hudson wanted a turn too!

One night we went to play miniature golf. While we were there Cooper wanted to ride some of the kiddie rides and the bumper boats. Since he is so young he had to have an adult with him so I volunteered. When I used to ride them we hardly ever got went. WELL, TIMES HAVE CHANGED!!!! We both got SOAKED!!!! Even though we were dripping wet, we still had a great time!




Since there were so many jelly fish, this was the only way that Hudson could get in the ocean :(

Catch-up pictures

Ok so I have lots of random pictures to post. The past 2 weeks we have been to the pool a bunch. It has been SO HOT outside that it makes it hard to do anything outside that does not involve water. Here are few pictures from the pool as well as a few left over from Cooper's birthday!

Papaw gave Cooper his first bicycle for his birthday and here is the BIG boy riding his first real bike! He was so proud of himself!

On Saturday we went to Kimberly's birthday party. We all had a great time, despite how hot it was outside. They had several baby pools as well as this awesome water slide. All of the big kids loved the slide and the babies just hung out in the baby pools!
Chris decided to let Hudson try the water slide and as you can tell, he did NOT like it at all!!! I think that the water was too cold for him. I will admit, the water was freezing!

This is a left over birthday picture. Maggie, one of Cooper's friends, gave him this roaring dinosaur head for his birthday. As you can tell he was very eager to put it on. He thought that it was hilarious when it started roaring at Hudson. Hudson however was not too sure about it??? :)

All of the Birthday Fun!

So here are some of the pictures of all of Cooper's birthday fun! We started celebrating on Thursday (his actual birthday) and we had a party on both Friday and Saturday. On Friday we had a "family" party and then on saturday we had a friends birthday party at Pump It Up!!

This is the jeep that Chris and I got Cooper. I think that Hudson likes the jeep as much as Cooper does! Whenever Cooper stops driving, Hudson will get made and start yelling. It is really funny! My sister flew in and SUPRISED us for Cooper's birthday! It was so good seeing her!! Here is a picture of Cooper, me, my sister Julie and my "adopted sister" Kali (Cooper calls her "Aunt Kali") Thanks for coming to celebrate "Aunt Kali."
My sister showed up in this wig and as you call tell Cooper thought it was pretty funny!
Hudson however did not like the wig as much!! :)

Overall we had a great turnout and the party was a BLAST!! All of the children and even most of the adults had a great time playing on all of the fun infaltables! Thanks to everyone who came and made Cooper's birthday a very special day! I hope that you had a happy birthday big boy!
