7 things about me that most people may not know????

1. I LOVE being a stay at home Mom! I love being able to take and pick my children up from preschool and hear all about their day!! I love reading stories with them and snuggling with them at nap time!! I LOVE big hugs and kisses from both of my sweet little boys!! I am so blessed!!

2. We are in the process of building a house and are currently living with my dad for the next 4-5 months!! So far it had not been bad for us, but my dad may tell you something different.:) He has graciously open up his house to us and for that we are so thankful!!

3. I am currently working part time (12 hours per week) as a reading interventionist! It feels good to help those children who are sturggling learn to become efficient readers!!

4. I am totally stressed out about where I am doing to send Cooper to school!!! I go back and forth daily between Boyd Buchanan (private) and CSLA (public-magnet) which are both excellent schools!!

5. I LOVE the Tennessee Vols despite our new crazy, outspoken coach!!! We have season tickets and try and go as often as we can!!

6. I just started couponing and I hope to save LOTS of money at the store from now on!!!

7. I love reality tv and well as mindless dramas!!! I am go glad that the fall shows are back on!!! Dancing with the Stars, Biggest Loser, Grey's, Desperate Housewives, just to name a few!!

White Water Rafting!!

Chris got one of his birthday presents today (even though it is a few days early). We went white water rafting with our best friends Deana and Jason. We all had a blast even though Jason and I were thrown out of the boat and cruised down the river for a little bit. At first we were both so scared because we could not catch our breath. The water kept pouring over our heads, but eventually we got to calmer water and everything was fine!! We all had so much fun and cannot wait to go back soon!!

I just wanted to post a few pictures of my sweet boys with the best Daddy in the world! Chris is so amazing! He loves all 3 of us so much and we are so blessed to have a husband/Daddy that not only provides for us but also loves hanging out and playing! Four years ago May 29, 2005 our sweet baby boy was born. I will never forget the moment right after he was born!! I was so overwhelmed with joy, love, excitement and peace!! I was in complete awe of our wonderful little miracle. It is hard to believe that four years have already gone by!!! I am sad to think that he is not my "little" baby anymore but very happy to watch him grow into a fun, energetic, silly little boy!! I love you with all of my heart sweet boy!!

This weekend was a busy one for us! We had Cooper's last t-ball game on Saturday afternoon and the that night we headed downtown for the boys to play in the water. They had a blast but were exhausted by the end of the day! Yesterday we meet up with Amy and Brain as well as Chris parents and grandmother and had some yummy lunch at Tony's. This is one of my favorite restaurants and it was so good!!! That night we went to dinner and a movie with some of our friends and saw State of Play and it was really good! I knew nothing about this movie, but I really liked it! Anyways today was a BIG day in our house.....I TURNED 30!!!! Thirty does not bother me (yet) but then again I have only been thirty for about 6 hours now!! :) Anyways my sweet husband planned a surprise party for me and lots of our family and friends came over to help me celebrate! We all had a great time and I am so thankful for wonderful family and friends!! Here are some pictures from our day! I hope that everyone had a great long weekend!

Muffins with Mom and Preschool Performance

On Tuesday Cooper's preschool had "Muffins with Mom." It was so nice and the kids were all so excited! Each child made a really cute tote bag for their moms. They were so proud of their gift because it was a surprise!! Also the teachers surprised us with a WONDERFUL scrapbook from the year! It was truly amazing! The book has to be at least 30 pages! Cooper and I have both enjoyed looking at all of the things he has done over the past year! Anyways, here are two pictures from our special morning!!

Spring Time!!

Since we have had beautiful weather lately, we have played outside everyday! Both Cooper and Hudson would sleep outside if we would let them. They have loved really loved digging for worms, catching caterpillars and helping us plant some flowers. Here are a few pictures from our outside adventures.

Hudson holding his "squished caterpillar." Every time Hudson picks up a poor little caterpillar, he ends us squishing it and then holds onto it forever. It is SO GROSS!!!!

Last Wednesday we had some friends over and Caleb and Cooper decided to start their own little band. When I asked them what they were singing they told me a song that I did not know. It was about "Batman"!

Last weekend we went to our church Easter egg hunt and Cooper and Hudson loved hunting for the eggs! We have been practicing at home so by this hunt they were both little pros! :)Here are some pictures from the hunt.

On Sunday afternoon we went to Papaw's house to dye some eggs! They both LOVED this! I new that Cooper would enjoy it, but I think that Hudson enjoyed it as much as Cooper! Here are some pictures from our egg dying at Papaw's.

Cooper has been dying to play baseball for a while now so we finally gave in and let him play
t-ball this year! I have to admit, it has been fun buying all of the little t-ball equipment and his uniform! He is always wanting to "practice batting!" He is a really good hitter and we are working on his catching.

Yesterday was his first game and he was SO excited! His team is the Mets and Chris is coaching (which is very comical!) He talked about playing baseball all day. When it was finally time for the game he walked right out on the field and wanted to bat! He got 2 great hits and had a blast! Here are some pictures from his first game!

Weekend Fun!!

We have been really busy with lots of nothing lately. Both of the boys have been sick, but I think that we are all on the upswing now!!!! It was a really long week for all of us! Anyways, now that we are "back to life", we have been busy. Here are some pictures from the last few days.

On Saturday we went to two birthday parties! The first was for Cooper's sweet friends Kate and Lydia. It was at Pump It Up and of course everyone had a blast!!! Happy birthday Kate and Lydia! After their party we headed to the fire station for Alex's birthday party. Cooper loved looking at all of the fire engines and he really loved playing on all of the engines! Fun with Friends and Valentines Party!!!

At school on Thursday Cooper's class had their Valentine's party. They were supposed to come dresses like a prince or princess but we do not have any "prince" clothing. So the other option was for the boys to come to school wearing one of their Daddy's ties. Cooper went with this idea instead. Here is he before school! (The ties literally was as big as him!)

On Wednesday we went over to Kim, Brennan's and Tommy's house for a play date. Cooper and another little boy from their class, Caleb came too! All the boys had a great time playing and just doing BOY things!! They all got along really well which was really nice!!

Snow Day (a week late)

Ok so last week we had a dusting of snow for a couple of hours. We had some pretty big flakes, but it was not cold enough for it to stick. However we took advantage of the pretty little white stuff that we rarely see! Here are some pictures of the boys "playing" in the snow.

Show Week at The Little Gym!

On Wednesdays Cooper goes to a sports class at The Little Gym! He loves this class and every week they learn/practice new sporting skills. If you know Cooper at all you know that he LOVES sports so this class is perfect for him! Anyways the past Wednesday, they had a show off week. Each child got to show their parents what they have learned over the past 4 months! I was such a cute "performance!" Here is Cooper getting into his stance waiting to play football.

At the end of their performance, Mr. Keith presented them all with a medal. It was very cute! He would call their names and they would walk up on the "platform" to receive their medal. They were all very excited about their medals!!! Here is Cooper with his Little Gym medal!

A Visit with Friends!

So why does my child think that it is funny to pick his nose.... I guess because he knows that it grosses his mother out!!! This is Hudson newest thing! It drives me crazy. He will stick his finger so far up his nose that I am afraid that it is going to start bleeding!!! He will yell Momma until I turn around and stay "GROSS"!!!!!! Hopefully this will "new trick" will pass soon! This is Cooper's new thing.... serenading us with his rendition of "Jesus Love Me" and "Jesus Loves the Little Children." It is so cute because he really gets into the song!! He has even added a few whoo-hoos in there to make it more special!!
On Monday we went up to Manchester to visit with Deana and her boys, Dayne and Tallan. As always the boys had a blast playing together!! Itis too bad that we do not live closer together! Anyways, here are some pictures of our fun afternoon.

On Christmas morning Cooper woke up around 8:00 and we tried to procrastinate until Hudson woke up....but Cooper wanted no part in that plan. He kept saying, "Let's go wake up brother!! He wants to see what Santa left him!!" So eventually we woke up Hudson and went downstairs. They both loved their presents from Santa! They played with them for a little while and then we open gifts from each other! We all are so blessed! We all got so many nice gifts! I am convinced that our house now has as many toys as Toys R' Us. I cannot figure out where in the world we are going to put everything! I guess that this will push us in trying to really sell our house now!?!? Anyways, here are some pictures from Christmas day! Enjoy!

On Wednesday morning Bing, our elf, was no where to be found in the house. However he had left little pieces of paper with arrows marked for a path to follow. Cooper followed the path and it lead us straight to Bing. He was in Cooper's car seat waiting to go to Papaw's for breakfast and open gifts! We have really had fun with Bing this year, but I am glad that we only have one more night! I am out of ideas!!

So a couple of weeks ago their was a pajama party at the mall. We decided to take the kids and of course Cooper loved it and Hudson loved it until he had to sit in Santa's lap. Here are some pictures of some of the pre-Christmas activities that we have been up too!

So as some of you know, Cooper got an elf right after Thanksgiving! His name is Bing and he is a naughty elf. He is really good during the day but gets into trouble at night. He has done lots of bad things but this was one of Cooper's favorite things that Bing did one night. We had made cookies the night before and apparently Bing was watching us. When we woke up the next morning, this is what we found....Bing had made him some cookies too. This past weekend we went on our annual Gatlinburg trip with my Dad, Ms. Gail, Grandma and Pop. As usual we had a great time! We had a nice chalet with lots of fun games to play. We stayed so busy with lots of fun activities! Here is Chris and the boys hanging out on Saturday morning.

Cooper had been talking about wanting to go ice skating for the past week so we decided that we would let him try but figured that he would quit as soon as he got out on the ice. We were wrong! He LOVED it!!

On Saturday night we went to Dollywood for their Christmas events. It was decorated so pretty! The boys rode some rides and had a great time looking at all of the lights! We had so much fun that we went back on Sunday afternoon. Some of you already know but we had an episode on Sunday at Dollywood. We were riding the 1950's style cars with the boys when Chris told me he felt funny. He thought that he was ok so he and Hudson proceeded to get on the car and Cooper an I were in the car behind him. When I looked up on the ride as Chris and Hudson were making a turn, I noticed that Chris looked funny. Unfortunately he was having a seizure. I started screaming for them to turn off the ride and they called the EMT's immediately. They were all so helpful! We had to take him to the ER and they kept him for several hours to monitor him! We sent the boys home with my Dad and Ms. Gail while Chris' parents, Chris and I stayed an extra night in Gatlinburg just to be close to a hospital in case something were to happen again. Needless to say we had a GREAT weekend until Sunday around 7:00! Anyways I will leave you with a picture of the boys on a ride from Dollywood!

This post is really long because we have lots going on this weekend! This past Friday was my friends Karen's birthday and we had a little surprise party for her! I think that she was surprised and we all had a great time!! Happy Birthday Karen!! On Saturday we went to breakfast with Santa which meant that Hudson would have to sit on Santa's lap..... YEAH RIGHT!! He screamed as soon as I sat him down. He is totally fine with him as long as someone is holding him. In fact he loves to look at him, give him five and even say "HO HO HO." Oh well maybe next year! (At least Cooper likes him this year!) Last night we went to a fun Christmas parade and watched all kinds of floats with Christmas lights! Even though it was a little cold we all had a great time! We even ate dinner at Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger afterwards!! Yummy!! Anyways today we went to church but tonight we are staying in and taking it easy. So here are some of the pictures from the weekend!

Last weekend Cooper and Hudson spent the day with Nana, Aunt JuJu and "Aunt" Kali. They decided to make a gingerbread house. Cooper was very proud of his house!

Yeah, it is finally time for Christmas!!! I LOVE this time of year! Nothing puts you in the spirit more than Christmas decorations and listening to Christmas music!! We put our tree up and I finally got all of the outside decorations up today! Here are a few pre-Christmas pictures of the boys in their Santa shirts and a little visit with Santa!!

On Tuesday Cooper's preschool had their Thanksgiving lunch. His class dressed up like Indians while the other class dressed up like pilgrims. They all looked so cute in their headbands, necklaces and drums! They all had a great time and learned alot about Thanksgiving too! Their "tribe" playing their drums!

Sorry for the long delay in post, but we have been so busy! I can't believe that Thanksgiving is almost here! It has snuck up on us so quickly! Anyways Cooper, Hudson and I took advantage of a nice, cool day yesterday afternoon! We bundled up and went outside to play in the leaves! The boys had a great time! On Thursday both boys had Fall Festivals at both of their schools! They had a great time and there were so many activities! Luckily the weather was nice so we got to be outside most of the entire festival! Here are some pictures from the big day:

Well, the Halloween festivities have begun...On Saturday we went to Boo in the Zoo. Both of the boys had a great time despite it being so crowded. The weather was a little chilly but it worked out great for Hudson since his costume was so thick!! Last Monday we met some friends at this really cool park on Signal Mtn. called the Pumpkin Patch. We had a great time and the weather was so nice!!! Here are some pictures from our fun day!

This slide is HUGE!!!! Both the boys loved it!! As soon as we would finish, Hudson would start signing "more" so that we would do it again! Cooper, Rebekah, Meghan and Maggie on the tire swing!

Down on the Farm Pumpkin Patch

This past Saturday we met two other families at Down on the Farm. They have such a great pumpkin patch as well as a playground, a tricycle track, swings, a petting zoo, a mini corn maze as well as a big corn maze, etc. . We had a great time and the weather was perfect!!!! I am so glad that fall weather is finally here! Here are LOTS of pictures from this past weekend!
They have a "train" that is known as the cow train . It is an old barrel that they have cut a hole in and painted to look like a cow. Well the kids really wanted to ride it so here is Meghan, Cooper and Alex getting ready for the cow train ride!
Of course Hudson wanted to ride too so here we are preparing (and barely fitting) for the train ride!

Pumpkin Carnving, Martha's Vineyard and Hospital Stay

I am WAY behind on blogging so.......this post will have lots of pictures!!! Since the weather has been so nice lately we have taken advantage of it! Hudson finally figured out how to ride his 4 wheeler around. He is so proud of himself too!!Chris and I took the boys down to the Creative Discovery Museum a few weekends ago and here are some pictures of them playing.

We got a couple of pumpkins a few weeks ago so Cooper decided it was time to carve them. I tried to convince him that it was too early, but he insisted that it was not (by the way our carved pumpkins are know rotten!)

Last weekend my mom, sister and I took a long weekend trip to Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket and Cape Cod. We had a really great time and the weather was perfect!!! Here are some of the pictures from our nice getaway!

We stayed at a really cute Bed and breakfast. It was so nice and homey!!! Here we are outside before we left to head back to Boston.
Well, while I was gone on my trip I got a call from Hudson's GI doctor. He had a couple of stomach several weeks ago , but apparently the side effects were still lingering. He was losing blood internally and we needed to schedule a colonoscopy to find out where he was bleeding and why??? Obviously I was a basket case, but we set the procedure for Tuesday morning. We had to "clean him out" Sunday night and ALL day on Monday. Well this is NOT FUN for a 14 month old who does not understand. We ended up having to check in the hospital on Monday morning and stay there while he was being cleaned out. He had to have a feeding tube that was hooked up to a laxative. He was being pumped full of laxative and saline all day and night on Monday. Anyways he did great in with procedure and we were discharged from the hospital. Well, the story does not end here..... apparently when they were removing the feeding tube through his nose, some form of liquid aspirated into his right lung. We came home and took a little nap but when he woke up he had a 104 fever. We headed back down to the ER and we find out that he now has pneumonia :( Poor baby had more blood drawn as well as 2 shots of antibiotics. So after 2 LONG days at the hospital we are home and doing MUCH BETTER!!!!! YEAH!!!! So here are some pictures of my sweet baby in the hospital!

Ok so back in the first part of September we were lucky enough to go to the beach AGAIN! We went with my dad and his girlfriend and we all had such a great time! Thanks for taking us Dad/Papaw! Anyways, I wanted to share some of the pictures with you!

Update on Hudson and Cooper's First Day of Preschool!

Well first of all I have GOOD news! Hudson is FINE!!! I talked to the doctor today and so far all of the test results have come back negative!!! YEAH!! Apparently he has a REALLY BAD CASE of the nasty stomach bug that is going around. We just have to watch him closely and make sure that he stays hydrated! Thanks for all of your prayers and kind thoughts through this blog as well as through all of the e-mails!

On to other news: Cooper started back to school this past Tuesday!! He LOVES it!! He walked right in and hung up his backpack and lunchbox and then sat down to start painting. I walked over to take a couple of pictures and he just looked up at me and smiled! (Much different than last year!) Anyways when I gave him a kiss he said "See you later mom. Don't forget to come back and get me!" (I do not know why he said this, I have NEVER forgot him!!) Anyways here are some pictures of my "Happy Preschooler!"He was very proud of his cow lunchbox and backpack!

Prayer Request for Hudson!!!

Please say a little prayer for Hudson! Some of you may already know but Hudson has been sick for the last couple of days. We thought Hudson had the nasty stomach bug that is going around but since he had NO FEVER they told us that he was fine just to ride it out and go about with our daily activities. Well after 2 days of hysterical crying and screaming, we decided that there was more going on than just a stomach bug. So we went to the doctor today and while we were waiting to see the doctor Hudson had FOUR poopy/diarrhea diapers (in 35 minutes). So when I told the doctor this info she immediately checked his stool and sure enough there was blood in his stool. She also checked his white blood count, which thankfully was normal. We think that we have ruled out any bacterial infections, but we now think that he may have salmonella poisoning or some other type of toxin in his bowels! :( Unfortunately their is nothing that they can do for the pain of his poor little cramping tummy. Once we left the doctor's office she sent us down to TC Thompson Children's Hospital for more detailed stool samples and hopefully we will know those results in the next couple of days. SO PLEASE say an extra prayer for our sweet boy tonight and that his tummy feels better and that we can figure out what he has so that we can treat it appropriately!!! Thanks and I will keep you updates as we know more!!!

Also today was Cooper's first day of his new preschool so I will try and post some of those pixs tomorrow! I am just too tired tonight!!!

Well my BABY started his Mother's Day Out/Thursday School this past week. It was MUCH harder on me than it was on Hudson. He went right in and wanted down to play. This past weekend Aunt Amy and Brian got married so we headed up to Nashville! We had a great time and got to see lots of old friends! Amy looked so pretty and we are so happy for Amy and Brain! Unfortunately I did not take many pictures, but here are some of the pictures from the weekend!

Way behind on blogging!!!

A couple of weeks ago Chris and I took Cooper to his first baseball game! We saw the Chattanooga Lookouts play and he had a great time. Besides wanting EVERYTHING to eat he was very good! We ended up leaving early because it was getting late but overall we had a great time!!! Here are some of the pictures!
Cooper was not too sure about "Louie the Lookout." He asked about him the entire game but when it came time to see him he was not so thrilled!! The only way he would see him is if I was holding him!

On another note Hudson has discovered that he can "dunk" the basketball. He loves to play at least until big brother comes in and takes over!

On Sunday Chris took the boys for a bike ride. As you can see they both enjoyed it!!! Cooper asked all day if they could go again. Unfortunately Chris was worn out from the first ride and could not pull them anymore!! :)

Well we went to the beach again this past week! We had a great time and the weather turned out to be fairly nice! I had never been to Kiawah before but it was nice and very relaxing! My sister and her boyfriend even got to join us so that was lots of fun seeing them! Here are some pictures from our trip!

On Friday night Chris and I went to dinner for our anniversary but we took JuJu and Joe with us since we never see them and we knew we would go to dinner just the two fo us when we got back to Chattanooga! We all had a great time!! Thanks for going with us guys!!!

I think that we rode bikes every day and most every morning we rode down to where the river meets the ocean. It is a really cool place. Eventually the water from the "river" goes down and you can walk on the sand and catch big crabs. It is hard to expalin but it is awesome when you are there in person! Anyways, here is a picture of my biker boys!

On Saturday we drove down to The Ocean Course and let Cooper hit on the putting green. It is a beautiful course and the homes are AMAZING!!! Anyways Cooper loves to play golf so here are some pictures from his first "real golf" experience.

This past Friday night we headed to Nashville to see The Wiggles Live in concert! I must admit that they put on a very entertaining show! Chris and I were both impressed and Cooper and Hudson absolutely LOVED the show! If your children are into The Wiggles and they are ever in town, I highly suggest you go see them! We had a wonderful 4th of July! Last Thursday kicked off our holiday week for us! Our church held their annual bike parade and the kids got to decorate their bikes, tricycles, etc, with as much red, white and blue as possible! They all had a great time!

Last week we had the pleasure of going to Gulf Shores with Grandma and Pop (Chris' parents). We had a wonderful time and the weather was perfect!! The boys loved the beach and Cooper actually cried when we had to leave and come back home. Our condo was SO NICE and we loved the accommodations of the condo. It was so conveniently located to everything! The pools were the best. There were 2 pools and one was a kiddie pool that was zero entry! It was wonderful!! Hudson crawled all over this pool and had such a great time! Cooper loved this pool but he also liked the "big" pool b/c he could jump to us in the water of the big pool.

One night we went to play miniature golf. While we were there Cooper wanted to ride some of the kiddie rides and the bumper boats. Since he is so young he had to have an adult with him so I volunteered. When I used to ride them we hardly ever got went. WELL, TIMES HAVE CHANGED!!!! We both got SOAKED!!!! Even though we were dripping wet, we still had a great time!

Since there were so many jelly fish, this was the only way that Hudson could get in the ocean :(

Ok so I have lots of random pictures to post. The past 2 weeks we have been to the pool a bunch. It has been SO HOT outside that it makes it hard to do anything outside that does not involve water. Here are few pictures from the pool as well as a few left over from Cooper's birthday!

On Saturday we went to Kimberly's birthday party. We all had a great time, despite how hot it was outside. They had several baby pools as well as this awesome water slide. All of the big kids loved the slide and the babies just hung out in the baby pools!
Chris decided to let Hudson try the water slide and as you can tell, he did NOT like it at all!!! I think that the water was too cold for him. I will admit, the water was freezing!

So here are some of the pictures of all of Cooper's birthday fun! We started celebrating on Thursday (his actual birthday) and we had a party on both Friday and Saturday. On Friday we had a "family" party and then on saturday we had a friends birthday party at Pump It Up!!

This is the jeep that Chris and I got Cooper. I think that Hudson likes the jeep as much as Cooper does! Whenever Cooper stops driving, Hudson will get made and start yelling. It is really funny! Ok, so I am really behind on posting. A couple of weeks ago we went to Nashville to celebrate the engagement of my sister-in-law, Amy, and her fiance Brian. They had a great engagement party and we all had a really good time. Here are some of the pictures we took right before the party.

The following week our Godchildren came down to visit. We were SO busy all week. Whenever they are here it is like a mini vacation for them. We went to the zoo, the pool, Lake Winnie, the aquarium and many other fun places. Here are a few pictures of their adventure at our local amusement park..AKA Lake Winnie.

I had a wonderful Mother's Day! I spent the day with my family, had a wonderful lunch and dinner and even got 2 beautiful sets of calillies. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family! Now that Hudson is on the move he is "exploring" everything! Last week he discovered the refrigerator. :)

So a couple of weekends ago (sorry for the delay on postings!) the boys woke up from their nap to find Daddy cutting the grass. They both went over to the door and watched him. Cooper put his arm around Hudson and and they both just watched! I think that this is SO SWEET!!!
That same weekend we took Cooper to play Gooney Golf (mini golf) for the first time! He LOVED it and was actually pretty good at playing. He even got a hole in one. (I can't even do that!) Anyways he played golf and then he and his Daddy went for a go cart ride. Don't worry there was only one other family on the track. I promise they were ALL very careful! He also enjoyed this, but he never took his hands off of the side of the car. Even though he said that he wasn't, I think that he was a little scared!

This past weekend went spent several days outside!!! It was so nice and we took advantage of it! My mom (aka: Nana) bought Cooper a VERY early birthday present--a scooter. He absolutely LOVES it! We took it to the park and rode it all around her house. Thanks Nana for the scooter. We also pulled Cooper's old mini-4 wheeler out of the shed. He still tries to ride on it, but he is much too big now. However, Hudson THINKS that he is big enough to ride. Hope that you all had a great weekend!

Some of you may know the Powell family and their little baby Ethan. I however do not but I have been touched by his website and videos. Unfortunately Ethan was diagnosed at 2 months old with cancer. He has had a long, tough road and unfortunately Ethan passed away yesterday, April 5. PLEASE pray for this young family. I cannot imagine what they must be going through right now. Fishing Fun

Just recently Cooper has become obsessed with fishing. Grandma and Pop bought him a pretend fishing pole and he ALWAYS asks to go fishing. Whenever we go to the park he wants to find the pond or if he sees a big puddle he asks for his fishing pole. Even if he does not have his pole, he will find a stick and just act like he is fishing. Since he is so obsessed, Chris decided to take him the other day and here are a few pictures from his first fishing experience.

Last Monday we had our playgroup Easter party. It was a little chilly, but we still played outside and had a wonderful egg hunt for the kiddos! They all play so well together and they seemed to enjoy the riding toys as well as the egg hunt! Here are some pictures from our fun party!

On Friday, Chris and I took the boys to see the Easter Bunny. We were a little concerned about this b/c Cooper is SCARED to DEATH of him. He would wave from a distance, but it took a lot of coaxing to get him to sit on his lap. Eventually he warmed up to him and did sit, but only long enough for me to take a picture! Cooper kept looking at his "net" mouth and tried to see what was inside. Luckily we could not see the person's eyes this year! That would have really freaked him out!!! Hudson just sat and stared at him and then would smile at us! Overall I was a good experience, but I am sure that next year Hudson will be scared and Cooper will love him!:) FUN!!They got these bunny ears for visiting the Easter Bunny.

On Thursday my mom and I had the chance to go shopping in Dawsonville, GA ALL DAY!! It was so nice! Hudson went with us and as usual he was wonderful! We got lots of great deals and spent lots of money. We really had a great time! While we were there, we bought Cooper some new underwear since he is now potty trained!!! He decided to try them on and pose for me this morning. When I looked up he was laying like this and said "Cheese!" I thought it was too funny! Check out his Lightning McQueen tattoo on his stomach.Look at how skinny he is.
When I went in on Wednesday to get Hudson up from his nap, this is what I saw. He is starting to pull up, but today he decided to pull his bumper down to take a peak. I just started laughing!

Last Sunday Chris and I went to Knoxville to see the last UT boys basketball home game. We had a good time and I think we were both happy to get away for an afternoon! Anyways when we got back into town we met my Dad, Ms. Gail and the boys at the park. Cooper wanted to feed the ducks so they went to the duck pond. As you will see below, there were several BIG puddles from all of the rain. Cooper received the ok from his Daddy and off he went, straight for the puddles! He had a blast and we laughed so hard watching him. He was a total mess, but he did not seem to care! This is my favorite. As he was running, he slipped and fell in the puddle. It was hilarious!

Thank goodness everybody and everything came clean!!

Yesterday Chris and I took the boys to get their Easter pictures. I must admit that it is always very stressful on me. It is so hard to get both boys to look the same way and then to get them to smile too. Besides Hudson trying to eat the bunny's ears and Cooper not wanting to smile the same time as Hudson, the pictures turned out fairly well. So now that we are all 100% we have been very busy! I just thought I would share some recent pictures!

This just reminded me of the movie Forest Gump when Little Forest is watching tv. I think it is too cute! Aunt Amy was in town last weekend so we went bowling and to lunch with her, Grandma and Pops! Cooper and his cute little bowling shoes. I did not know that they even made them this little!

Ok, so here are some pictures from the boys and their surgery last Wednesday. They both did GREAT! Hudson just had tubes put in his ears so he went first. The surgery itself only took about 3 minutes and he was back to us in about 10 minutes!!! After he nursed, he was back to himself in about 45 minutes. It is amazing at how fast this surgery is!!! Cooper was next and since he was having tubes put in and his adenoids removed, this surgery took just a little longer (about 10 minutes). He was so luppy (sp???) from all of the medicine, that he was cracking us all up. He would say things and then just start laughing. It was a great stress reliever for me!!!! Once we took him back for the surgery, Ms. Lori (his nurse and my mom's new WONDERFUL sister-in-law) gave him a net hat to play with. He had it on his face, on Chris, on myself and even on his Froggie. He thought that this was hilarious. Anyways here are some pictures from the day. Even though it was a simple surgery, I am SO glad that it is over and that my boys are ok!!!

Well, we have had a rough couple of weeks. Hudson had an ear infection (#4) so we went to the doctor on Wednesday and they decided that his ears were SO BAD that they were going to give him 3 rocephin shots. He had one shot every day and hopefully this was going to "try " and improve his ears, at least until his surgery. While at the doctor (every afternoon for 3 days) he picked up some nasty virus which caused him to spike a high fever. Luckily his fever is gone and the surgery can go ahead as planned!!! Anyways, both Cooper and Hudson are having surgery early in the morning. Cooper is having tubes put in again as well as his adnoids removed while Hudson is just having tubes put in. I am very excited that both of my boys are having this surgery b/c hopefully they BOTH will feel much better afterwards, but I am EXTREMELY nervous about the surgery. Please pray for both boys and that their surgery and

recovery goes well.

On a happier note, these pictures are from a couple of weeks ago (pre-illness). Hudson loved riding in the wagon and Cooper loved pulling him around! Cooper is such a great big brother! I am lucky to have two wonderful boys!!

Since the weather has been so nice the past couple of days, we have taken advantage of it and played outside most every afternoon! Hudson is now old enough to swing and he LOVES it!! Cooper is having a hard time sharing this swing. He really like for his Daddy to push him HIGH and he has to be in the baby swing to do it. Fortunately he lets Hudson swing for a little while and then he wants Hudson to "Get out so Cooper can have a turn!" Anyways, we hope that you have enjoyed this nice weather! Sick Babies

We have had another rough week here at our house. Poor guys just cannot seem to get over their colds (which turn to ear infections, sinus infections, etc.; we have an appointment with the ENT on Monday to see about putting another set of tubes back in Cooper's ears and Hudson's first set in his ears). Anyways, I kept Cooper home from school on Thursday to get some extra rest and he sat like this for most of the morning watching tv and wanting to read books. I am SO ready for Spring! I am tired of my babies not feeling well!!!! Feeling a little better in Mommy and Daddy's bed.

This was Hudson at his 6 month check-up. We went for his check-up 2 weeks ago, but he was sick so they decided not to give him his shots. Well today since he was feeling a little better (minus the 3rd ear infection in a month and a half and a running nose) he got his lovely shots. I have to say that he was a trooper. He only cried for about 10 seconds and then he was finished. I think that it helped to have big brother and Nana their to entertain him! Anyways, he weighs 18 lbs., 15 oz (92%) and is 27 1/2 inches in length (off the charts for his age). Needless to say, he is growing just fine! He is really wanting to crawl. He pushes his leg around behind him when he is sitting and tries to move forward. I think that we may have an early crawler on our hands. Looks like life with a stationary child may end sooner than we had hoped!:)

Sesame Street Live!!

On Friday night Chris and I took Cooper to see Sesame Street Live-Super Grover! He was a little freaked out at first. He did NOT like the characters. Finally after about 10 minutes he warmed up and started getting into the show. By the end of the show he was dancing in the aisle, until they characters came into the aisle and then he would "jump" back into Chris' lap! Overall I think that he had a great time and he has talked about it all weekend!

Well, we finally got it--SNOW!! Cooper was so excited when he saw the snow! He started screaming "Look Snow!!" Even though there was not a lot of snow when he was out, there is quite a bit more snow now. All of the schools around here are closed tomorrow so hopefully there will still be some snow in the morning and all of the kids can get out and play in it! Maybe we will have more pictures to post tomorrow! Until then we hope you get some snow and maybe even a day off of work/school! Enjoy!!

This past weekend we took Cooper bowling for the first time! He had been asking to go, so we figured why not? I really did not think that he was going to have that much fun, but I was completely wrong! HE LOVED IT!! He picked up his 6 pound ball and walked right up the the line and rolled his bowling ball down the lane. He acted like he had been doing this for years! :) Anyways, we had a great time and here are some pictures from our new adventure!This was after his first time. He watched the ball all the way down.

This was his first time there and he loved it until.... he saw the mouse. He was terrified of Chuck E. Cheese. He would not take his eye off of him the entire time. Finally be the end of the night, he started to play again, but he always had at least one eye on him at all times. Here are a few pixs from this adventurous trip.

Ok, so (I) Cooper was tagged by Sophie Hadfield to list 8 interesting things about me, so with the help of Mommy and Daddy here it goes:

1. As you can see from the above picture, I am not ready to go to the potty yet, but Mommy and Daddy think that I am/should?!?! We have battled for several day now and currently, I AM WINNING!!!

2. I usually call myself "Pooper Jones" instead of Cooper Jones. I also like to call my brother "Big Boy" instead of Hudson.

3. I used to be obessed with The Wiggles, but now my new obssesion is watching "The Polar Express!"

4. I have a girlfriend and her name is Meghan! I really love playing/hanging out with her!!

5. I love to play outside and I get a little stir crazy if I have to stay inside for too long!! I am ready for warmer weather so that I can play outside all day!! Mommy and Daddy say that I would live outside if I could!! -Sounds good to me!

6. I love to play on the guitar and sing "Santa Claus is Coming to Town", "Twinkle Twinkle", "Jingle Bells" and "Jesus Loves Me!!" Thanks goodness Papaw got me a really loud guitar with a microphome for Christmas!

7. My favorite things to eat are "Chick-fil-A, fried okra, corn, sausage and pancakes.

8. Mommy and Daddy say that I run on 4D batteries ALL the time! Personally I think that I am lots of fun to play with and I cannot understand why everyone that watches/plays with me is always so tired afterwards? Maybe they just need some D batteries too!?!

Wow, what a great Christmas we had!! Our Christmas really started this past Wednesday with my Aunt and Uncle and we just finished yesterday! Needless to say our boys have SO MANY toys, that we do not know where to put them? I have been cleaning out stuff ALL day trying to make room for their new toys! Oh well, I guess my living room will look like a "living room" again and not a playroom one day after they have moved out. Until then it is just fine covered in toys! Here are some pictures from the past couple of days.

" Mr. Mary Poppins" Cooper found this Spider Man umbrella one day in Walmart and just had to have it, so I brought it home and wrapped it up from us! He loves carrying it around even though it has not rained yet!
