Happy 2nd Birthday Cooper!!!

Yesterday was Cooper's 2nd birthday!! Time has flown by!!! I know that every parent says this, but it really does goes fast when it is your baby growing up! Well, as you can see Cooper had a great "family" birthday party! (His other "friends" party is Friday) He gots lots of cool new toys and loved his cake!! Here are a few pictures from last night! Grandma and Pop bought him a play kitchen and this apron
set to go with it!! Isn't this funny!!!

Best buddies! Jackson and Cooper ready to eat some birthday cake!

Cooper worked really hard to blow out his candles. (If you are wondering why there are so many candles, Chris got one big cake for Cooper and I to share since our birthdays are only 4 days apart. He insisted on putting my candles AND Cooper's candles on the cake.)

Happy Memorial Day!

You have to love Memorial Day--we spent all day in Nana's pool (and Cooper's new pool). Does it get any better than that??? I hope that everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend and that you got to relax and enjoy a day off of work!

When Cooper woke up this morning after sleeping until 9:00 (Yippee!!) he decided to climb into our Baby Einstein exasaucer (spelling???). This now makes 2 things of the baby's that he is enjoying playing in. I knew that he really loved this as a baby, but I am shocked at how much he is enjoying it now!!!
Cooper and Nana taking a drink from the "palm tree sprinkler." This is his new pool that Daddy suprised him with today. It is really cute. It has a bigger pool with a little slide and a smaller pool. It also has this palm tree sprinler with lots of fun animals to play with too! Thanks Daddy!!

Mommy and Cooper being lazy and floating in the pool!!

Tomorrow is Cooper's birthday, so we celebrated tonight with Nana. We had cupcakes, but we could not find the candles so we had to be creative and light a match instead. We felt like the biggest red-necks, but it worked. He still enjoyed blowing it out!

He also enjoyed his cupcake as you can see!

Our Beach Trip!

Well, we made it back home! We had a wonderful time in Destin! The weather was perfect, the water was a little cool, and the food was fantastic! Cooper was not real sure about the ocean or the sand at first, but by the end of the trip, he liked them both! A special thanks to Papaw and JuJu for going with us to the beach! We had a blast!!!! This is after our fourth day there. Cooper was completely wiped out from
all of the fun and the sun!

I LOVE this picture. Cooper had learned to say "Peace Out" and here he is
with his Daddy showing off.

Like father, like son!!!!

The water was cold, but as you can see once we got in it was managable!!

Hodge Podge of pictures

Well, I hope that everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day!! Mine was great! I spent the day with my wonderful, soon-to-be bigger family! This is us after church.

This is Cooper at Coolidge Park. He decided to take a break from playing in the water and went to sit in the flowers!?! When I asked him what he was doing, he gave me this smile!!!
Some friends of ours borrowed our bassinet and the other night they gave it back to us. Chris, without thinking, sat it down and when we looked up, Cooper was in it!!! It was so cute because he looked at us and said, "Night Night!!" I told him it was for his baby brother, but he did not seem to care, he continued to play in it the rest of the night. I hope that he doesn't try to crawl into it when he baby brother is in it??!!??

On Tuesday, we had a pre-birthday party for three of the childrden at Cooper's preschool that have summer birthdays. As you can see, they all loved it, especially the cupcakes!!! Happy Early Birthday Macy, Cooper and Max!!!!
(Sorry about the sideways picture. I am not sure what happened???)

Well, we are off to the beach! This is our last vacation before Hudson gets here! We are all looking forward to getting away and spending some family time together!!! I will post some pictures when we return! Have a great week!!!!

Fun with Deana and Dayne

On Wednesday, Cooper and I went to Manchester to spend the day with my best friend Deana and her son Dayne. Dayne and Cooper are 3 months apart so they always have a great time playing together. This was very true today!! It was so great to see them!! We love you guys!! Just a little FYI, Deana is pregnant with her second son and she is due the day after we are due. How fun is that!!! Hopefully our boys will be as good of friends as we are!!!

We had another great time with our playgroup this past Monday. We went to the zoo. The children LOVED all of the animals. I think that the petting zoo was their favorite!

Busy!! Busy!!

So far this week we have been very busy! Monday we spent the entire morning at the park with all of our friends from our playgroup! On Tuesday, after preschool and our follow-up appointment with the ENT, we headed downtown to the Aquarium, with Daddy and Grandma, to see the new attraction "Penguins Rock." Cooper did like the penguins, but only for about 5 minutes. As you can see in the pictures below, he was more amazed with the fish and the stingrays! However, he refused to touch them!! He just decided to observe instead. On Wednesday we again played outside all morning. Before Chris left for work, he filled up Cooper's pool and let the sun heat up the water (which never really warmed up and I thought was freezing) but Cooper did not seem to mind. He loved playing in the water and even braved the cold water from the hose. Well tonight we met up with some friends of ours, who are moving back into town, for dinner. They have a son Riley who is 5 days younger than Cooper and a little baby who is 3 months old. Cooper loved seeing and playing with Riley. It was lots of fun catching up with them!! We can't wait for them to move back to Chattanooga so the boys can play together more often! Well, that about wraps up our week. We hope that you all have had a great week too!
